Most questions about Morsel Jar have the same answer: it’s meant to be small. Here are the common ones.

Why can’t I open another morsel?

One morsel a day is the whole idea. After you crack today’s morsel, the same fortune stays with you for the rest of the day — a fresh, intact morsel appears at midnight, local time. It isn’t stuck; it’s finished for today.

How do I change my tone or focus?

Open Settings from the main screen. You can pick a tone (gentle, direct, playful) and one or more focus areas. If you’ve already opened today’s morsel, changes take effect with tomorrow’s.

How do notes work?

After a fortune is revealed, tap the small line beneath it to jot a short thought. Saving a note keeps that fortune in your jar. Notes can be edited or cleared the same day, from the main screen.

What’s in the jar?

Every fortune you heart. In the jar view, tilt your phone to stir the morsels, drag them around, and tap one to read it again or share it as a card.

Where’s the reminder?

The app offers one optional daily reminder. Turn it on (and pick the time) in Settings. If you declined notification permission earlier, enable it for Morsel Jar in iOS Settings → Notifications.

Can I export my morsels?

Yes. In Settings, under “Your jar,” you can export everything you’ve kept — with your notes, and today’s morsel if it’s open — as plain text through the share sheet. Send it to Notes, save it as a file, or paste it anywhere.

Is my data backed up anywhere?

Everything lives on your device only — see the privacy policy. Your device’s normal iPhone backup includes the app’s data like any other app.
